Happy July 4th everyone!!!
…I can’t believe we have been out of the Marine Corps a year and a half. I do miss our old life sometimes. We had great friends and there was always a new adventure every time we moved. But there is plenty I do not miss as well. Happy that my hubby is home…many families cannot say that. Take a moment today between all the fireworks and food to remember not only our current military/veterans but all those throughout history who served. I cannot imagine the guts, hope, and courage those families had back when the Marine Corps was formed nor can I ever imagine being a military wife during the world wars.
I took this photograph while some families were making coming home signs for their returning military members. Bo was deployed when I took this photograph…it was hard…but now we have great perspective on other things in life.
